Wiped the local save file data under the steamapps/user section /534380/. Wiped the game folder, /documents/ folder and the /appdata/ folder. Turns out mine does load, it just takes a good 5 to 10 minutes, or maybe it's a game focus issue, try not ALT + Tabbing while it's loading and just waiting for it.
